Extension Springs

Northeast Spring designs and manufactures custom helical extension springs to meet our customer’s specific requirements. This includes a wide range of end hooks, full twist loops and other configurations. Our extension springs are used in many applications including Overhead Door, Agricultural Equipment, Industrial Hardware and a wide range of other products.

Extension springs are defined as a type of spring designed to support tensile or pulling loads. Extension springs are usually closely wound and will possess initial spring energy. Typically, extension springs have hooked or looped ends for securing or fastening the part to a door or other object.
